Assi Market Coquitlam

Young Cashier service is really sucks. She didn’t respect the customer. I already clean up milk glass bottle and return it. They won’t refund the money back when I return milk glass bottle and gave me hard time. I have shopped there all the time. The older cashier service is nice and polite. but this time is back luck to meet the young cashier. I won’t go that store again. Jun 05,2022

Just like the Kingsway location, got good selection of products. They have a vegetable section, seasoning section, frozen/fresh meat section, snack and noodle section. They also have freshGimbap that they make in house.

Clean and well organized Asian supermarket specializing in Korean products. There is a produce section on the right of the entrance and shelves of products down the middle. Sliced meat can be found in fridges on the left side of the store. Parking is limited in the plaza. Although not very big, but is a great grocery store to shop at.

this is a very good location and small grocery store with full of asian food. if you are looking for korean bbq or chinese hotpot this would be a good place to go with. it had vegetable meat and a wall full of ramen. because it is small, it save tons of leg work. from one asile to other.

Korean supermarket in Coquitlam. Next to Coquitlam Centre in a strip mall. There's enough parking, but can be busy. This Korean market has good prices and a lot of items are usually on sale. The selection is limited due to the smaller size of the market, but all your staples are here. The produce and meats are good quality and we like the side dishes available here. It's a smaller store and the lineup winds around the store so it's a bit difficult to get to some of the items especially during COVID. Worth a visit.

The prices are average but certain items can be a great deal, there are almost always discounts on certain things. The gimbap from here is addictive and a really good price, as is the tteokbokki. The cashiers have always been very friendly and welcoming.

One of my favourite Korean grocery stores to visit!! They have great fresh produce and a superb selection of meat. It’s located near Coquitlam centre (AKA Walmart and T&T) so it does have some competition but depending on what you need you can really get away with some great items of quality and price. They also have a limited selection of ready to eat food - japchae, seafood pancake, tteokbokki and Kimbap. They’re SO good and always sell out early so be warned. The staff are nice and please don’t be shy to visit this place if you aren’t Korean! There are so many different people that come to shop and it isn’t as intimidating as you think. I will always encourage exploring other cultures stores so please make a visit if you’re in the area!!

Good place to shop. Assi Market Kimchi is the best I’ve had. Kimbab is also good. Decent prices

This store has really good quality products and really wonderful service. The cashiers and very kind and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend this store to anyone in the community. Honestly has better products than tnt. Also has the best tasting fruit it is always sweet.

Great medium sized grocery shop with fantastic selection of Korean food and snacks. Some self produced options like their own brand of kimchi is really good. Items tend to be average quality and up, so this isn't just another cheap little grocer, but one with decent options. Prices are reasonable and selection plentiful. There are also other Asian groceries, and this is also a good place to get certain Japanese products and typical commercial Chinese sauces, etc can be found here as well, but if you want a high end XO sauce it probably won't be here. Staff is helpful and lines are typically not long. Biggest challenge is the parking: if you don't mind walking across the not-huge parking lot you'll be fine: people seem to wait for the spots right in front of the store, but you can find parking by barely walking and distance just past the little bank. I'll let the others wait and park across the lot at busy times... Really like this place.
